The end of each year provides us with time to reflect on our team’s performance and contribution to a well-done year full of successes, challenges, and contribution to our organizations. Time past fast and in some of our industries, measuring performance on a monthly or quarterly basis, my help us forget or missed those ones that have done amazing around us. That is why it is worth performing a self-reflection to ensure all your boxes are covered on recognition:-Did you recognizing those that have impacted your overall organization performance?-Did you recognizing those behaviors that will support your organization mission and vision?-Did you thank those that helped with the successes of your organization?-Did you start meetings and conference calls recognizing successes and achievement from your team? -Did you thank your team for their contribution on specific goals, task, or challenges?I believe there is no limits to recognize and thank our people when they are doing an amazing job. I will fail if I put a quota on recognition when people deserved it. Each one of your employees expect acknowledgement of their hard work. Achieving goals could be a team effort, but recognition become valuable when it is done individually. Thank you all for your support and partnership this year, and for allow me to share some of my passions with all of you! Happy Holidays! Daniel Rodriguez

Feeling the love today 💖 So thankful to be a part of such a supportive team that encourages me to be the best version of myself. When I first accepted this job as a Staffing Recruiter, I wasn't sure what to expect. Throughout my career as an internal recruiter I was told the grind wouldn't be for me, or I wouldn't like the fast pace because I wouldn't have an opportunity to connect with my candidates.Fast forward one year and I can honestly say, I'm the best Recruiter I've ever been. I use tools and sourcing methods that internal recruiting peers only talked about, but never put into practice. My candidates appreciate the time I take to understand their skill sets, explain the job, and pipeline them for future roles. And I just LOVE working across multiple industries! It also doesn't hurt that everchanging priorities (sometimes by the hour), compliments my ADHD and short attention span. *Oooo something new and shiny!!!*This goes to show you that just because someone thinks something is undesirable for THEM and makes a quick judgement about YOU, doesn't mean they are right or that you will feel the same way. Sometimes, you gotta see for yourself. I'm so happy I did.Cheers to One Year 🥂 Did you know we're hiring?? Join my team as a Staffing Manager or Recruiter and let's reach new heights TOGETHER!#appreciation #anniversary #werehiring Jan A. DavisEdwin SorianoDiane CatalanLuis Mendoza

Work can be an absolute nightmare, and saying we’re in love with our job every single day would just be a lie! Fortunately, my team has always been very good at celebrating successes internally, and today is no exception to that as I celebrate my work anniversary at Unicity International. I am usually not the type of person to take risks or to take on challenges that I don't know if I'll succeed or not. I always want to know I'll come out as the winner before I enter any endeavor. But for Unicity, I took the leap even when the firm seemed out of my expertise. To my surprise, they saw the potential in me to lead and train despite not having much professional experience in this line of work.Throughout my stay in the company, I received continuous challenges that pushed me to expand and build my business acumen and conflict management skills. But the aspect that my team influenced me the most, is my overall vision of a better working environment. In that vision, I was able to share and help propagate this purpose of nurturing team members by training and enabling them to be their absolute best. I believe that the guidance, praise, and feedback that I have received from colleagues, seniors, and clients were all equally integral in building my exceptional Unicity experience, and I hope they all know how grateful I am that they put their trust and faith in me.For me, working in the corporate world, or in any kind of industry, is never a sprint, race, or game of who never stumbled or failed. You are your own world and your narrative is uniquely yours. So continue to persist no matter what. No matter how cosmic or intimidating an opportunity is, take that step! You'll never know how capable and ready you really are if you don't try. Remember, trying is only half the game, so take courage and leap forward! Exciting times ahead! And I can only look forward to improving from my previous best. Thank you, Unicity. 💙

    # Subconscious Bias - being a mother for the child means “being a mother first, then professional excellence, subject matter# Go deeper to understand why? A short survey with professional mothers will help you understand why? Interestingly mother’ emotions, feelings and care towards children across the globe are nearly similar (data on file survey)

When it comes to women, an unspoken bias exists in society. It's a subtle undercurrent that many people think about but don't openly discuss. This advertisem*nt from Tech Mahindra brings this facet to the fore. It sheds light on how we often fail to recognize the incredible abilities of women, especially when they have achieved remarkable successes in all areas of life. This ad deserves praise for exposing this hidden bias and for celebrating the amazing strides women have made. Kudos to Team Mahindra. #womeninbusiness #professionalwomen #womentech #womentechmakers

#risewithtech I believe it comes from 2 factors-Educational opportunities and market exposures.1) Education - Our education system is not built on some real life lessons which we need once we start living the life outside classrooms. Ex. Tax, personal finance, IT, insurance, basic home repairs, cars and gadgets, etc.. We haven’t been taught what are the key factors to look upto before making decisions.2) Market exposure - Not all of them get chance to get that exposure so as to learn and understand and be in a position to evaluate their own. This leads to incabability of making strategic evaluations and decisions..But least to mention, this scenario is changing !🦋

A really out of the box creativity and well articulated introspection by this team. Kudos!Organisations still need to understand the dynamics of diversity. Diversity is beyond just male and female. Imagine of creating an organisation that shapes out the best from its employees based on their skills and not on their caste, religion, sexual orientation, gender or any other factor that differentiates.Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging is what a modern organisation is seeking to build a strong brand. The generation Z is more open minded and welcoming to diversity and its here that a bridge required to blend the thoughts of Z that is the future with the millennials to shape the success of the organisation.Diversity will open the doors for innovation and also enhance the feeling of belongingness to carving the organisation success story.#hr #diversity #talentacquisition #talentmanagement #talentretention #humanforward #modernoffice #itmatters #culture #vision #change

Wow—- this is kind of crazy. You have to watch until the end. I hope we can break this cycle but I get it. I too probably would go to friends and colleagues over my mom for these types of questions. I got to her with bigger life questions and advice: My mom tends to come to me with the tech questions. I think this changes with exposure. Just the other day my girls were home while I was working and I was going through resumes to hire someone. I let them click on the buttons to open the resumes, select the drop downs to take the next step. Clearly I’m making the decisions but I explained what I was doing and looking for. They got a peek at a small portion of what I do in my role.Fast forward a few days later at the dinner table—-they had made laptops and phones with paper and markers. When I asked what they were doing they said “hiring and firing people”. They interviewed my mom for the job and she helped them with what questions to ask. I’ll tell you if they are the future of business I hope to work for them one day—- their flexible schedules and high pay are where it’s at!!! This is what change looks like. Getting it into their minds that moms do other things than just “mom things”. And yes I still hope they ask me for recipes one day! How are you changing what the role of a “mom” looks like? #womenintech #momswhowork
