Enroll in Native Ed

How to Enroll in the Native Education (Ed) Program

Is your student American Indian / Alaska Native? An enrolled or descendant of a State or Federally recognized tribe? They can quality for Native Ed programs and services through Title VI. For assistance or enrollment questionsemail our Enrollment Specialist.

Steps to Apply

  1. Download the complete the 506 form

    Download the fillable 506 Form

  2. Please fill out the out form completely.
    • Must have Tribal agency address
    • Must have Tribal Enrollment or Membership number or other evidence
    • Check only ONE box under Tribe or Band
  3. Email completed form to Native Ed Enrollment

  1. Download and print both pages of the form on onesheet of paper.
  2. Please fill out the 506 form completely.
  3. Sign and return the completed form to yourchild’s school office manageror mail to:

The NEP Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a required and essential component of the NEP program and it's Title VI Federal funding.The PAC plays an integral role in developing the Title VIgrant andNEP activities each year.

Meet Our Cultural Resource Facilitators

The role of Cultural Resource Facilitators is to bridge the gap between students and families of the American Indian / Alaska Native (AI/AN) Community and SKPS. We are a resource for AI/AN students and families who attendschool meetings, Individualized Education Plan (IEP)’s, parent teacher conferences and more.

Weassist with connecting high school students with resources through ourNative Clubs network (soon to include students in kindergarten through grade12). We also work directly with schools and staff to address students' needs.We keep track of our students and are here to offer support and guidance along the trail to graduation!

Native Education Program - Keizer (5)Kylee is a Citizen of the Madesi band of Pit River Tribe. Kylee is passionate about Native Culture, fitness, fashion and art! She serves the South and Sprague Schools and feeder system as a Cultural Resource Facilitator.

Native Education Program - Keizer (6)Mr. Finch is a Citizen of the Willowa Band and Whitebird Band Nimiipuu (Nez Perce Tribe), and FortMcDermott Northern Paiute.Mr. Finch is an artist, emcee, producer in his own time and serves the North Salem, McKay, and Roberts High Schools feeder systems as a Cultural Resource Facilitator.
