Pokemon Renegade Platinum

Pokemon Renegade Platinum is a fan-made ROM hack of the game Pokemon Platinum. It was created by Drayano and features various changes and additions to the original game, including increased difficulty, new movesets and abilities for Pokemon, and new areas to explore.

Some of the changes that can be found in Renegade Platinum include an expanded regional Pokedex, updated moves and abilities for all Pokemon, the ability to catch all 493 Pokemon from the first four generations, and a new area called the Battle Frontier which offers various challenging battles.

Story

The story of Pokemon Renegade Platinum is similar to that of the original Pokemon Platinum game, with some minor differences. The game takes place in the Sinnoh region, where the player character embarks on a journey to become a Pokemon trainer and ultimately become the champion of the Pokemon League.

Along the way, the player character encounters a criminal organization known as Team Galactic, which seeks to harness the power of legendary Pokemon to achieve its nefarious goals. The player must stop Team Galactic and its leader, Cyrus, from carrying out their plans.

As the player progresses through the game, they also battle against eight Gym Leaders, each specializing in a different type of Pokemon. Once all eight Gym Leaders are defeated, the player can challenge the Elite Four and the champion of the Pokemon League.

Throughout the game, the player character also encounters various other characters, including rivals and professors, who provide guidance and information about the world of Pokemon. The player must explore various towns, cities, and routes, catching and training Pokemon along the way, to become the strongest trainer in the region.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Pokemon Renegade Platinum is similar to that of the original Pokemon Platinum game, with some minor changes and improvements. The player controls a character who navigates through the world of Sinnoh, catching and training Pokemon and battling other trainers to become stronger.

Players can explore various towns, cities, and routes, each with their own unique landscapes and Pokemon to discover. In addition to battling other trainers, players can also participate in various side quests and mini-games, such as contests and underground battles.

One of the main differences in Pokemon Renegade Platinum is the increased difficulty level. Trainers have stronger and more diverse Pokemon teams, requiring players to use different strategies and tactics to win battles. In addition, some of the Gym Leaders and Elite Four members have different Pokemon and movesets, adding to the challenge.

Another difference is the addition of Pokemon from later generations, expanding the available pool of Pokemon that players can catch and train. Some new moves and abilities are also added to the game, giving players more options in battle.

Overall, the gameplay of Pokemon Renegade Platinum is engaging and addictive, with plenty of content to explore and challenges to overcome. Fans of the original Pokemon Platinum game will find plenty to enjoy in this ROM hack, while also experiencing new twists and surprises along the way.
